Second Responders

Utah’s first responders have done a heroic job in responding to COVID-19. Now it’s time for the second responders: shoppers, teachers, and others who will respond to the economic and social fallout of the pandemic. How? By re-engaging safely, smartly, and consistently so we can get Utah back on its feet.

Our first line of defense against a first-of-its-kind crisis.

But there’s a second crisis Utah faces.
Thousands of small businesses are in trouble.
Tens of thousands of Utahns are unemployed.

It’s time for second responders.

Cut to people stepping out of their homes and cars. They are resuming normal life at grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. But they using masks and practicing physical distancing.

Respond by shopping local.
Respond by supporting small businesses.
Respond by hiring and helping those in need
Respond by following safety guidelines to protect our first responders and the vulnerable among us.
